On January 16th 2015, Tony woke up early with the fully-formed idea for a poster for The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler - an hour or so later he'd finished it, triggering what was to become 'Books What Have a Defined Me', in which he produced personal responses to books that had impacted on his life, illustrating both parts of the narrative and the overall spirit of the literary work - and with titles ranging from Enid Blyton's 'Famous Five' to Pierre Cabanne's 'Dialogues with Marcel Duchamp, his choice of books played as much a role in the project as the posters that he created.
